Villa Puri Naga Toya offers a unique and luxury retreat in the mountains. The 4 bedroom; 3 bathroom villa; is perfect for 8 persons. It is available to be rented complete with an English speaking Manager and staff to help you with your cleaning, cooking and laundry needs.
In Asia-Pacific Tropical Homes Magazine, Joni wrote this about Villa Puri Naga Toya
“Whimsical as it might at first appear, the two storey octagonal design lends itself perfectly to the site.” “The first floor enjoys a range of different orientations, with a pivotal opposition between a landscaped garden courtyard on one side and the sweeping vista of volcanic hills and virgin rainforest on the other.”
Puri Naga Toya's scale also matches the landscape, an effect that was achieved in part through the project architect's ingenuity. The independent master suite bedroom is in a separate pavilion. It has a private view of both the mountains and the river which is spectacular.”
“The independent suite upstairs [guestroom] is located on the second floor, and commands 360-degree views, looking as far south as Kuta and north to Gunung Agung, the sacred volcano.
Bali's best kept secret,
Puri Naga Toya is a well-composed work of art - and is centered on a half acre estate with beautiful views of the Batukaru Mountains ; surrounded by the traditional baroque gardens with all the 'accoutrements' of aristocratic life.
Its three pavilions are planned around natural geographical features and situated in a “tropical cloud forest” only found in these altitudes. The independent master bedroom suite is one large pavilion with private balcony living area, with portrait views of the Batukaru Mountains and sacred Ayung River .
There is a living/dining/library & media pavilion, which is all located on the first floor. A private twin bedded bedroom is located off of the living area on the first floor - and a master suite bedroom on the second floor - with spectacular views of the mountains, rice paddies, and the sea. It is connected by the circular stairs in the library and media room.
The kitchen and staff area is located in a third pavilion near the access road and positioned to greet guests. Surrounding the three main pavilions are gardens and water features.
For those city dweller's, a few hours alone in such a serene environment, releases a week's worth of stress. Take time and swim in the refreshing spring-fed pool.
Feng Shui Principles
This luxury Ubud villa was built with inspiration from Tze. Strong emphasis was placed on the design complying with important feng shui principles. Feng shui is the ancient Chinese system of design that takes into account the four elemental energies and the relationship to a home in order to create harmony, wealth and tranquility.
In this Ubud villa you can see that all of these basic principles have been observed. Every day is paradise in fresh mountain air. You will enjoy spring water to drink, bath and swim in.
Functionality was not forgotten amid this heady artistic creation. According to the Chinese principles, water represents well being, so to have water slowly meandering through your Chinois gardens is symbolically akin to health and prosperity flowing into your holiday.
